Problem: The company producing rubber bands had a long-term problem with a strong electric charge. The machine where the rubber bands were cut created a strong electric charge up to 50 kV. Due to strong charge machine operatives received a strong electric shocks, which was not only harmful but also made complications for employees to work and operate with the machine.

Solution: As an appropriate solution to eliminate a strong electric charge we recommended antistatic ionisation bar NEOS 20 Fraser Anti-Static Techniques. In order to remove strong electric charge as effectively as possible, we suggested to install the ionisation bars at a distance of 50 cm from the winding rolls of rubber. One anti-static bar was install from above and one from below. This solutions removed the charge from both rolls and machine operatives can work now without electric shocks.

Used product: Anti-static ionising bar type NEOS 20 Fraser Anti-Static Techniques. This bar is suitable for a distance between 150 mm and 800 mm.

The resulting benefits: EXIM – TECH, s.r.o improved working conditions for employees in the workplace by removing electric charge from rolls rubber. We helped to avoid strong electric charge that made complications for employees to work and operate with the machine. We provided that machine operators did not receive any electric shocks during handling with rubber bands.

Method of implementation: Our sales and technical representative suggested a solution for elimination of electric charge to the costumer. Customer was satisfied with the result, ordered anti-static ionising bar and we have installed and put them into operation directly on the machine.
