Problem: The consumer’s machine for the production of plastic bags had mounted ionising bar from another supplier, which did not work reliably. Plastic bags were sticking on each other. For this reason, production has not been smooth and staff had to constantly intervene in the production process to peel off bags from each other. Due to this fact customer recorded a loss in production.

Solution:  Our sales and technical representative measured off the functionality of the original installed ionising bars and found it non-functional. To solve the problem we offered the customer ionsing bar Fraser 3014, which was perfect in size and ensured the performance of production process as customer needed.

Used product:  Ionising bar Fraser 3014, together with the external power supply Fraser-E3024 PSU from Fraser Anti-Static Techniques. Ionising bar 3014 24 V DC represents a step forward in the technology of static electricity and electric charge control. The compact profile allows the bar to be situated closer to the material being treated and more easily integrated with modern machinery designs.

The resulting benefit:  Thanks to the use of our ionising bar we helped customer solve problem with plastic bags adhesion. We secured him speed up of the production process, because there was no need of constant human intervention when storing bags. Thanks to our solution the production will increase by approximately 15% and maintenance will save 1 hour of work, which they were previously loosing  by intervention in production process and peeling off bags.
