The 24V DC revolution in static control has taken a giant step with NEOS technology.

Building on the success of the original 3024 24V DC Bar, Fraser has developed three new high performance Static Eliminator Bars (NEOS 12, NEOS 20, NEOS 30) for the most demanding applications in the plastics and converting industries. These Bars use NEOS technology to increase the performance by up to 250% compared to competitive products.

NEOS works by sampling the electric field of the static charge and then increasing the supply of ions of the opposite polarity until the charge is neutralised. The sampling can be many times a second, so the response is very fast. NEOS has been tested at process speeds of 2000m/minute to ensure that it can cope with the increasing speeds in the converting and papermaking industries.

The rotary switch at the cable end of the bar gives the operator full control over the NEOS bar. The default factory setting is AUTO NORMAL for intelligent operation within the working ranges of 200 – 750mm.

AUTO LONG may be chosen if the operating distance is always toward the long end of the range. The customer may also select to turn off the intelligent modes and run the bar as a standard static eliminator. There are 3 manual settings for Short, Medium and Long Range Operation.
